The theme of The Bachelor's thesis is a design of the dance school in Brno-Zabrdovice area. The project focuses on a contrstruction of a buildingless gap on the crossing of the Milady Horakove and Prikop streets. The goal is to cover up two large areas of adjacent buildings with a new building. The object is divided into two parts. The first one has a better access for the public. Inside there is a large dance hall that can be rented for various events, music school for adults and a cafe with a terrace on the third floor. The second part is a major eight-story building, which includes dance halls of various sizes, locker rooms with their own sanitation facilities and spaces designed either for rent or as the offices of teachers of the dance school. The upper floors are reserved for students‘ accommodation. Each accommodation unit includes a bedroom, a small kitchen, a dressing room and sanitary facilities. The roomes are suited for one or two students. The entire underground floor is used to park cars and store bicycles. There are also technical rooms and a Boiler Room. For the convenience of residents, the building wis designed as a pass-through. There is a small park with leveling staircases located at the back yard. During the summer season, the lawn can be used as a recreation place for students or residents of the city. The entire structure is designed in accordance with the requirements for Immobile use of structures. The multifunctionality of the new building ideally complements the existing educational facilities of the city, such as kindergartens, high schools, grammar schools and universities.

In this diploma thesis is documented an analysis and an approach of designing a self-propelled mobile reel mower with respect of general assumptions of industrial design. Thesis takes aim on a comparison of technologies of present manufacturers of garden equipment and proper choice and following application of technical solution and shape solution on a new product.

The theme of my dissertation is to create the architectural study of a football stadium in Brno behind Lužánky. The proposed stadium is to create facilities for football Brno, athletes and fans. Stadium capacity is 23 thousands audience. Object is an organic shape and is forming two main parts. The first part of the concrete superstructuce and second is a steel structure carrying a transparent facade composed of ETFE foil.

Design of automatic lawnmower

The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of an automatic lawn mower. The design solution is based on innovative concept respecting all technical, ergonomical, aesthetical and ecological demands. A research study, including a historical, technical and design analysis of lawn mower, is preceding the description of main creative part of design process starting from the concept development and ending up with the final solution. A conclusion of the thesis presents an analysis of final solution, its character, contribution to the human society and the particular role of industial design in automatic lawn mower concept.

Mulčování jako alternativa údržby trávníků

The thesis is about mulching as an option of a lawn maintenace. At first the lawn was introduced as an ecosystem, the composition was described, and also its maintenance. After this summary the thesis started to describe the mulching. It was described what exactly the mulching is and what we know about it, which machines we use and why the mulching is advantageous. The next thing is economic assessment and development in machines maintaining the lawns. This was introduced on the specific firm which occupies the green vegetation. According to these results we can deduce that the mulching has a lot of advantages. We suppose, it will be wanted a lot as a lawn maintance.

Bilance fotbalových trávníkových ploch v Jihomoravském kraji

This bachelor thesis is concerned to balance football fields in the South Moravian Region. Literature review focuses on categorization of football turfgrasses, the general characteristics of grass species, weeds, basic construction of the football fields, basics of maintenance of turfs designated for football.The main part of my bachelor thesis includes records of football fields in the South Moravian Region. Thesis shows all fields from the highest competitions to the lowest competition. In the part of inventorying is always listed area of playground, number of fields and whether it is main field or training playground.Thesis describes results of counting fields in the South Moravian Region, including total number of football fields and area of playgrounds.Thesis also includes own measurement made on the football field in Brno. Playground area shows basic criteria of the playground quality.

Rozbor stavu a návrh racionalizačných opatrení pre trávniky kúpelného mesta Piešťany

Bachelor Thesis The analysis of the state and the proposal of rationalization measures for the lawns of the spa town of Piestany deals with the issue of lawns in the town of Piestany and maintenance care for them. In the text there is a literary review, which captures the state of the problem. In addition to the overview, the comparison method is used to achieve the goal. A comparison is made - the balance of representation of specific types of lawns in relation to the characteristics that reflect the costs of labor operations. It is eg. terrain steepness, maintenance intensity classes, the fragmentation of the areas or the number of the areas in the protected area. In Technologies chapter, four technologies of maintenance care for park and meadow lawn are proposed, each of them in two steepness classes and in three maintenance intensity classes. Work and material costs are solved. On teh basis of the processed information and balances, rationalization measures for the maintenance care of lawns in the model area are proposed.

Abstract In this work we will be focusing on lawns in family gardens. We will begin with short introduction with mechanization used for foundation of grass areas. Following chapters will be focused on grass mixtures, soil preparation for sowing and foundation technologies. We will also pay attention to upcoming care for the founded lawn. In the work we can find pictures from model objects, on which we will show specific grass areas and ways of founding a lawn in family gardens.

Využití přírodních extraktů pro zlepšení kvality travních porostů

In teoretical part of this thesis are described setting of lawn and his maintenance. In this thesis are listed basic species of grasses which are contained in grass mix and fertilizers which were used during practical experiment. Due to the uniqueness of this experiment, literary research contained only basic information about natural extracts. Practical experiment consisted of preparing soil, setting up a lawn and followed by aplication of natural extracts and fertilizers. During experiment was monitored seed germination, weight of biomass in two period, colour spektrum of leaf surface and lawn condition. Results were monitored in four varietes and each of them was performed in 3 repetitions. The best results of germination was monitored in variety 2 (Extract). The ideal development of biomass was monitored in variety 3 (Extract + fertilization).
